On a warm and temperate day—68 degrees, sun-drenched and kissed by a gentle breeze—I found myself at Clancy's Ice Cream Parlor. I sought neither luxury nor indulgence, only a moment of calm and satisfaction amid the duties of the day. I received one scoop of their coffee almond ice cream. It was simple, yet profound. The flavor was bold, honest, and unpretentious—like good character. The almond gave it texture, grounding the richness of the coffee. It was a reminder that even small pleasures, taken with intention, can uplift the spirit. The staff, steady and courteous, performed their task with quiet diligence. The environment was clean, unhurried, and peaceful—a fine place to rest briefly from the world’s noise. Let others chase novelty; I found contentment in a single scoop. That is enough.

Visiting the Bay Area and decided to try a local ice cream hot spot and this place did not disappoint. The variety of flavors combined with quality and generous portions had us going back two days in a row. The service was great and the vibe welcoming. The single scoops are great, but you cannot go wrong with the three scoop sundae

The best value ice cream in the Bay Area. What a gem in San Leandro. Such fresh and high quality ingredients. The largest “small” size I’ve ever seen. Love the Tin Roof flavor. Please do yourself a flavor and get the Brownie a la Mode, and do it fast- it’s almost always out of stock for a reason. 6/5.

There are many kinds of ice cream, and they also make a variety of milkshakes. I had the ube flavor. it wasn’t too sweet and tasted really good. You could even feel bits of ube in it. The gelato was super chewy and dense. It’s the best gelato I’ve had in the U.S. There’s no seating, so I ate it in the car. Highly recommend!

This ice cream shop is a must-visit. The price for a scoop is very reasonable, and I really love the ice cream here. They give very generous portions and always have delicious flavors. I will definitely come back again

This place is amazing, 2 scoops translates to 4-5 scoops, they're incredibly generous with portions, and always have delicious flavors. I recommend the bubble gum flavor. Took the track team here one time.

Another One of my fiancé's favorite spots in San Leandro. The Ice cream is always excellent. Definitely a go to if you are looking for great ice cream! The pumpkin ice cream was fantastic! 10/10

Damn this ice cream place is a must go. I ordered one scoop and it was massive. Prices for the scoop are super reasonable and enjoyed the ice cream. They have so many flavours to choose from. If you’re in the area, you must check it out
